Rekha, known for her envious collection of ethnic ensembles and traditional jewellery, was spotted a wedding reception in Mumbai recently. Dressed in a traditional sari, Rekha was seen along with her sister Radha Usma Syed. Both sisters looked resplendent in their ethnic attire and were seen happily posing for pictures. Often known to recycle her expensive ensembles, the actress has often spoke proudly of her collection of traditional saris.
Rekha was also seen attending photographer Dabboo Ratnani’s calendar launch recently. Wearing a white silk sari with gold borders and a matching full sleeve blouse, the veteran actress was seen admiring the photographs on display. She also spent time with Dabboo’s wife Manisha Ratnani and the couple’s three children — Myrah, Kiara and Shivaan — after which she posed for the shutterbugs.
Although she is often seen attending social events, Rekha has remained away from the arc lights in the past couple of years. She was last seen in a cameo in the song ‘Rafta Rafta’ from ‘Yamla Paagal Deewana: Phir Se’, which released in 2018. As of now, there are no reports of her appearing in any upcoming films.
