Shilpa Shetty Kundra has surprised one and all after she recently welcomed her newborn baby girl with husband Raj Kundra. The couple are already parents to their 7-year-old son Viaan.

Taking to her Instagram handle, Shilps shared the news of the arrival of her angel, Samisha Shetty Kundra. Their baby girl was born on February 15, 2020, however, they decided to annouce it officially on the auspicious occasion of Mahashivratri'. Along with the announcement, Shilpa also shared the meaning of her newborn’s name which apparently means ‘Goddess Laxmi’. She wrote, "Sa in Sanskrit is 'to have', and Misha in Russian stands for 'someone like God'. You personify this name - our Goddess Laxmi, and complete our family. Please bestow our angel with all your love and blessings. Ecstatic parents: Raj and Shilpa Shetty Kundra, Overjoyed brother: Viaan-Raj Kundra."

She captioned it as, 'Om Shri Ganeshaya Namah. Our prayers have been answered with a miracle... With gratitude in our hearts, we are thrilled to announce the arrival of our little angel Samisha Shetty Kundra. Born: February 15, 2020. Junior SSK in the house.'
Check out the picture here: The couple had kept the news of the arrival of their daughter a secret. Whether Samisha was born out of surrogacy is yet to be confirmed.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Shilpa will be making her comeback into films with ‘Nikamma’ which also stars Abhimanyu Dassani and Shirley Setia in lead roles. She will also be seen in the second instalment of the most loved laughter riot 'Hungama'. The movie also stars Paresh Rawan, Meezaan Jaaferi and Pranitha Subhash.
